The lot established by the Municipality for the construction of the new City Hall is a land occupied by the current City Hall, which, - in the direcions given in the competition announcement - will be demolished only once the construction of the new building will be
completed (this decision was taken in order to ensure the efficient running of municipal facilities without involving a temporary office in alternative branches. These restrictions were taken into consideration until they characterize the morphology of the project itself and its functional organization, both designed to ensure the maximum integration between the parties.
Il lotto individuato dall'Amministrazione Comunale per la realizzazione del nuovo municipio è un terreno occupato dall'attuale Municipio, il quale, nelle indicazioni date nel bando, dovrà essere demolito solo ed esclusivamente una volta completata la costruzione del nuovo edificio in modo da garantire il regolare funzionamento delle strutture comunali senza implicare il trasporto temporaneo degli uffici in sedi alternative.
Queste restrizioni sono quindi state assunte nel progetto fino a caratterizzarne la morfologia e l'organizzazione funzionale, tese a garantire il massimo grado di integrazione tra le parti.
