The project includes a system of stations with corporate image, for the redevelopment of the railway line from Milan to Malpensa airport. The image expresses the considerable technological renewal effort, practical and relevant to the safety of 150,000 daily users. The attention to the symbolic level (the big portal), the originality of the overall design combined with the accuracy in the choice of materials and details, the precise coordination in the image of different functional types, make this project a rare event in Europe, which deserved two important awards: the INARCH prize award and the IRITECNA award for a significant work of European architecture built in Italy.
