The Ercole Carcano Foundation has always been an important territorial reference for the free extra educational training dedicated to minors in the field of visual and musical arts. Until the construction of new buildings, activities took place inside the Villa Carcano, an Art Nouveau building that has revealed itself unsuitable for the Foundation's activities. The new laboratory, which take place in the garden, are located in a sufficiently distant point from the Villa Carcano, in order to guarantee an architectural and stylistic independence. The arched distribution of pavilions form a simple transparent exedra which faces towards the Villa Carcano enhancin its monumental presence.
