The new building mainly follows the existing agricultural building connected to Villa Vigoni, in whose proximity there is an original brick tower dated presumably from the fifteenth century. The special feature of the area is that it is under Monumental Constraint directed by the Authority of Milan. This involved a complex and very long design process to achieve the long wished for clearance. The project creates a harmonious whole thing as coherent and respectf as possible of the existing buildings. Specifically, we took care of the recovery of the nearby medieval tower by connecting the new building on the side towards Via Saccardo.

On the Home Front porch retrieves the pre-existing image of the farm (barn) with a square layout pillars in double height brick. The characteristic of the area, the urban environment and the historical memory, suggested us the right design for this lot, a place inserted without trauma in a consolidated residential fabric.
